Scrunch emerges from stealth with $4M in funding led by Patrick Salyer at Mayfield and notable angel investors, including TJ Parker (PillPack), Bryant Chou (Webflow), Steve Garrity (UserClouds), and Clara Shih (Meta AI, previously Salesforce, Hearsay).

2025 Scrunch continues to grow

Scrunch raises a $15M Series A led by Decibel, with participation from Mayfield, Homebrew, and other investors. Further investment from GTM Capital and other investors brings total funding to $26M. The team grows from 3 to 49 employees, serving 500-plus customers, and unveils the Agent Experience Platform (AXP).

2026 Scrunch becomes a Sitecore company

Scrunch is acquired by Sitecore, a leader in digital experience and content management software that has raised $1.23B in funding and has surpassed $500M in ARR. Scrunch continues to operate as a standalone platform and accelerates its product roadmap.
